You could interview a mushroom and get a better opinion on where to eat in Montreal. Basically the Mirror guys just sit back while the Average Joes check in (think Zagat, but hugely increased to include transients and you'll be getting the picture).

That said, I generally trust reviews in Mirror and Hour rather than the Gazette.

--Nick

Re: Montreal BOM Chowtime Awards 2007

HAHAHAHAHAHA

casa grecque??? Yes they have good coffee, but it is not what I am looking for. Maybe people should offer suggestion, and then someone checks them out and rates them accordingly. And drop the franchise crap from the list please.

Re: Montreal BOM Chowtime Awards 2007

marketing survey thinly disguised as "vox pop"
not worth the time to pick apart, but definitely a warning to anyone wanting a restaurant reference for Montreal:
Do NOT trust this list "as is"

Re: Montreal BOM Chowtime Awards 2007

Well said nick, the BOM are ajoke

Re: Montreal BOM Chowtime Awards 2007

I'm definitely here to mock. This "poll" is a farce. People just tend to write in the names of restaurants they know the names of, or that "everyone" says is good. Best delivery . . . Domino's? That just goes to show you the veracity of the BOM. Ask the masses a question and you will always get the lowest common denominator of an answer.
